A QUEEN ANNE WALNUT AND FEATHERBANDED KNEEHOLE DESKCIRCA 1710The hinged top opening in conjunction with a fall front to the frieze drawer, panelled to simulate three drawers and enclosing an arrangement of small drawers and pigeonholes with a velvet writing surface, the kneehole with twin recessed doors surrounded by an arrangement of seven drawers, on turned feet, the cross-banded sides with a pair of brass handles 80.5cm high, 76cm wide, 49cm deep Provenance: Moss Green Auctions, South Yarra, Australia 30 August 2010, Lot 247Bonhams The Collection of Giles Newby Vincent, The Old Rectory, Wickhambreux, Kent.
