the gently rounded sides resting on a straight foot, the exterior enamelled with four phoenix medallions above a green-enamelled border around the foot, the interior decorated with a sun amidst clouds and jagged rockwork issuing from the tempestuous waters, the base with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue within a double-circle
Diameter 16 cm, 6¼ in.
Condition Report:
The bowl has a tiny, ca. 0,3cm shallow frit to the rim and two glaze pin holes to the exterior just below the rim. There is light overall wear to the glaze on the centre of the interior, and light wear to the iron red of the roundels on the exterior.
