with low footrim and ten-lobed outline, decorated in iron-red and various shades of green, yellow, black enamels and gilt on underglaze blue with stylised paulownia leaves and blossoms against a lattice design interspersed with formal floral motifs, the reverse with waves and scattered cherry blossoms, the base with a clove mark surrounded by leaves, five spur marks
