The tapering body on a later spreading base cast with Rococo scrolls, flowers and foliage, with two later handles cast as Bacchic figures supporting a putto, the cover with a later owl and dragon finial, later chased overall and applied with foliage and figures, further applied with cast birds, marked on side and on cover bezel, the base further stamped with an indistinct mark and with the initials 'DD'
