The case in fine walnut veneers and elaborate coloured marquetry depicting flowers, foliage, birds and winged female mythological figures. The inked steel and gilded brass face inscribed 'Joseph Saer, Porpoole Lane, London'. One month mechanism when wound.

English circa 1690.

Condition: The overall condition appears to be good, consistent with age. There are no visible signs of loss or damage. Some signs of old repair work. The movement is in working order but has not been tested for time.
