with long straight heavy blade double-edged towards a sharp point, engraved with differing geometric designs enriched with brass on each face at the forte; integral iron hilt comprising faceted ferrule, and a pair of hardwood grips (pommel chipped), in its wooden scabbard encased in sheet brass decorated with geometric designs and with a single ring for suspension (the other ring missing, losses)
