A rare Remington-Keene Magazine Bolt Action Rifle
dating: 1875-1890 provenance: USA, Rifled, two-stage, octagonal and round barrel, with fore-sight and provided with adjustable and foldaway rear sight (slight pitting in some areas inside and groove visible through all the length). Tubular magazine under the barrel. Antique blueing at 50%. Bolt in working order with company's patents caption. Caliber '45-70' marking on the side. Walnut, half stock (veining and inlay reinserted in front of the trigger guard) with pistol-grip, checkered so as the front segment, smooth butt's side. Loading gate in front of the trigger-guard, iron mounts. Butt with a gate. length 112 cm.
