by Frederick Marson, Birmingham 1846, shaped oval form, the hinged lid engraved with a Continental lake scene, the base engine-turned with a vacant shield-shaped cartouche, gilt interior with pierced scrolling foliate grille. 4.2cm wide
The marks are clear. The hinge of the grille is a little loose, but it functions well, and the grille closes tightly. The hinge to the lid is good. The engraving is crisp. It is in generally good condition.
