All of these comparable examples have verysimilar characteristics in common with the present model such as bead orgadroon mouldings, channelled pilaster angles headed by scrolled corbels andreeded or lobed bun feet. A closely related cabinet probably supplied toWilliam, 4th Earl Fitzwilliam (1748-1833) for Wentworth Woodhouse, Yorkshire,was sold Bonhams London, Fine English Furniture,19th November2014, Lot 166 (£5,625).
