Visible groove for all the length, encrustment at the nozzle. Rolling block frame, stamps 'M' and 'J'. Saddle ring on the left side. The cock with remains of finishing. Upper tang with Remington marking and patents of 1863 and 1864. Wooden, smooth butt and fore-end. Iron mounts. Butt-plate marked 'U.S.' Remains of numbering and stamps on the wood. length 86 cm.
