A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL GILT AND CARVED WOOD PIER MIRROR, FRENCH, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, with a reticulated arch form crestrail centering a curling tipped acanthus leaf above opposing "C" scroll brackets flanked by winged griffins morphing into swirling leafy tendrils, over a central arch with an applied shell within a molded frame and eared corners enclosing a band of continuous lozenge florets before leaf tip trim surrounding a later beveled mirror plate.
