A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL GILT BRONZE MANTLE CLOCK, FRENCH, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the finial cast as stylized dolphins emerging from a lambrequin fringed and compressed lidded urn, over a domed rectangular pierced case of swirling acanthus centering a curling strapwork framed dial, within a glass-covered and beaded bezel opening to a porcelain dial painted with blue daisies and stylized Arabic numerals, enclosed by egg and dart cast trim, verso clockworks numbered 12237, flanked by scrolling brackets on a stepped plinth with stylized fleur-de-lys motif and raised on scrolling coquille encrusted legs.
