Circa 200-400 AD A fine Ancient Roman cosmetic container blown from pale green glass with nice purple silver iridescence evident. The vessel features a slender piriform body with trailing ribbed decorated. It stands on a substantial paw-like foot. Two handles have been applied to the cylindrical neck, then drawn up and pressed onto the everted rim.Size: L:135mm / W:50mm ; 70gProvenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s.
