Comprising a finely painted eight-sided Russian Orthodox icon Crucifix, the entire image overlaid with a finely crafted repoussé and chased gilded silver oklad, hallmarked Moscow, dated 1826, and with Cyrillic maker's mark I. Sh. Height 14.25 inches, width 7.75 inches (36.5 x 19.5 cm).
