With two-stage barrel with sighting flat, part octagonal breech inset with silver panels chased with foliage, tang, flat bevelled lock, cock and steel all en suite, moulded hardwood full stock inlaid with engraved silver cagework secured by pins and enclosing numerous drop-shaped and circular pieces of red coral (corallium rubrum), the fore-end left plain and with horn cap, silver mounts comprising spurred faceted pommel with cap chased as a flower-head, foliate engraved trigger-guard with fluted bow, turned faceted ramrod-pipes, silver trigger, and later horn-tipped wooden ramrod
