Of shaped outline, formed of leather stitched together and tooled on the outside with cross hatching, and secured around the outer border by alternate groups of three small brass and iron nails, the upper border with a row of iron pins each on a pyramidal brass washer, crossed straps held by a large and small parcel-gilt brocaded roundel chased with swirled clouds, and with slender iron suspension bar at the back
