Property from the Collection of a Private Family, Atlanta, Georgia European Furniture & Decorative Arts Appearing in overall attractive, stable, and ready to place condition. Scattered surface marks, scrapes, and scuffs, consistent with age and use. Multiple horizontal age splits to top. Visible wear to the banding along top edge, and a section of fill 5 1/2 inches in length along top proper left edge. Proper right side of case has one age split, scattered filled small holes or gouges, and a section of repaired veneer in the back corner. The proper right front foot has been repaired. The proper left side of the case has a section of repaired veneer in the center of the wood panel. There is a section of missing veneer and multiple veneer repairs along the apron. All drawers and the writing surface open and close smoothly. There is one drawer pull missing from from the top proper left drawer of the bureau portion. There is no key.
