A Regency gilt brass mounted steel fender and tool set, circa 1815, the frieze pierced with foliate and acorn motif and with egg and dart borders, flanked by two protruding pilaster supports, with gilt floral mounts, leading to curved sides with further conforming mounts; with fitted knopped brackets cast with roundel mounts supporting a conforming set of fire tools consisting of shovel, poker and tongs, the fender 28cm high excluding, 70cm high including tool brackets, 113cm wide, 38cm deep, the tools between 72cm and 75cm long
