A Regency mahogany and ebonised pedestal sideboard, circa 1820, 100cm high, 191cm wide, 61cm deepProvenance: Private collection removed from 9, Royal Crescent, BathCondition Report: Overall there are marks, scratches, splits, cracks, chips and abrasions. The sideboard has been cleaned and repolished, probably most visibly to the top.There are splits to the veneers over construction joints including to the pedestal tops, and pedestal fronts. There is variable fading including to the front. Some losses including some sections of brass marquetry border that are missing.The drawer linings are cedar; the drawer handles are later.The pedestal doors are locked, there is no key.Please see the additional photographs as a visual reference of condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
