A Regency mahogany and gilt metal mounted secretaire side table, circa 1815, the rectangular top above a secretaire frieze drawer opening to a leather inset writing surface and an arrangement of small drawers, on turned tapering legs terminating in brass caps and castors, 92cm high, 107cm wide, 58cm deep
Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Old repairs. Some sections of replacement veneer used. A roundel moulding to one side is lacking. Filler used to disguise a mark to the top. Tears to the leather inset writing surface along the fold of the secretaire drawer. Later drawer runners. No key present.
