Y A Regency mahogany bowfront chest of drawers, circa 1815, 107cm high, 119cm deep, 58cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,Some old chips, losses, and some replacements to some elements, most notably t one front corner, there are signs of filler here too, there is a diamond shaped inset piece of timber to one side of the carcass, there are also chips and losses to some of the cock beaded elementsThe handles are not original, they are inkeeping with the chest but are replacements. they cover the previous holes well Some spots and marks to the top also indentations and scratches, Ash-lined drawers operating well, there is a bent key operating the locks at time of report these appear original, the third drawer down is stiff and not locking when the drawer is pushed in, the lock operates when the drawer is pulled out, it may need some minor attention to assist thisCondition Report Disclaimer
