Cal. 12,7x44R Rem, SN. 4006, matching numbers. Barrel length 37½“, the rifled bore a bit frosted. Ladder rear sight. Bayonet lug. The top tang marked in two lines with maker's name and patents. The breech end of the barrel with inspector's marks ”TN / RN“. Right side of action ”1867". Barrel lightly browned, spotted. Action colour case hardened, spotted, with patina. Two-piece walnut stock with signs of wear, left side of buttstock with unit markings and heavier signs of wear. The sling swivel in the buttstock removed.Cleaning rod. Cruciform socket bayonet, marked crown/“C”. Length 136 cm.
