Spanish/Mexican School, 18th/19th Century. A retablo painted on wood panel, depicting Saint Thomas Aquinas with staff and church; 11 1/4" x 8 7/8" (frame 16 3/4" x 14"). Condition: scattered areas of old in-painting where there was paint loss, including on the robes and around the figure; some cracks to panel. The back of panel mounted/not visible (frame appears to have wormholes). Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
