A Richard-Ginori white and polychrome dinner service

decorated with similar Egyptian motifs from the Khedivè Service, comprising: 12 soup cups and plate, 16 soup plates, 24 dinner plates, 24 fruit plates, 1 tureen and cover, 2 salad bowls, 2 oval trays, green crown mark with golden plate.
The service is completed by a white linen table cloth with 2 rectangular cloth covers and 18 napkins embroidered with similar decorative motifs, 340by216cm.
The service features the Egyptian-style decoration of the famous Khedivè Service, commissioned by the Viceroy of Egypt in 1873 to the Ginori factory in Florence, and used in 1874 for the sumptuous inaugural lunch of the Suez Canal. '90s
