A Roman bronze round-bodied lamp

A Roman bronze round-bodied lamp, late 1st - 2nd Century AD, with short nozzle, the lidded (lid now lost) with ledge and hinge at back in front of the spade-shaped handle guard, ring base on bottom. L: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm); H: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm). A nice example with dark green mottled patination. Ex Barstow, California private collection.
