A Roman terracotta seated female figure, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, the woman with braided hair, wearing a headdress and necklace, and appearing to be holding a child in her arms, H: 4 2/3 in (11.9 cm). Red-orange slipped surfaces with light deposits. Ex estate of Donald Brown, Boston, Massachusetts, collected in the 1960's.
