A Romano-Egyptian terracotta head of Harpokrates

A Romano-Egyptian terracotta head of Harpokrates, 1st - 2nd Century BC, with right finger pressed to his lips and wearing a headdress consisting of a solar disk between horns. His features are well-detailed and overall a very pleasing example! H: 3 1/8 in (8 cm). Light deposits, black lucite base. Ex Harold Whitbeck estate, San Francisco CA, acquired between the 1980's and 1990's from major auction houses and galleries in the US and UK.
