A Ruby and Diamond Bar Brooch, an oval cut ruby in a yellow claw setting within a border of old cut diamonds in white rubbed over settings, to a tapering bar inset with an old cut diamond either side in a white claw and millegrain setting, total estimated diamond weight 0.25 carat approximately, length 5.2cm see illustration
. The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and revolver catch and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 4.0 grams. CR made 28.01.20.
