A Ruger Firearms Set of Playing Cards in a Wooden Sliding Lid Box

This set of merchandise from Ruger Firearms comprises two decks of playing cards housed in a light-colored wooden box with a sliding lid. The top of the lid features a printed black graphic of a stylized eagle with its wings spread, above a serif monogram consisting of the characters S and R. Below the eagle logo is a printed R in a circle signifying a registered trademark. The box is constructed with finger-jointed corners and a semicircular finger pull at one end of the sliding lid. Inside, the lot contains two decks of cards, one with black card backs and one with silver-toned card backs. Each deck is contained within a cardboard tuck box that is printed with the text RUGER at the top and FIREARMS at the bottom in a bold, black block font. A central window in the tuck box displays the card backs, which repeat the eagle and S R monogram motif seen on the wooden container. The wooden box interior is unfinished.
