A Russian Faberge gem set silver cigarette case

A Russian Faberge gem set silver cigarette case. Makers mark of EK (for Erik Kollin - d. in 1901), rectangular form, applied with a blue enamel cartouche with laurel leaf mounts and applied with a diamond set 'A' and the numbers III for Emperor Alexander III (1881-1894), hat of Monomakh above. Purple push button clasp, length 8.8cm, approx. weight 3oz. Note: Erik Kollin was a Faberge head-master from 1870 until 1886. Pan-Slavic style objects were among his best.
