[ translate ]

A Russian Imperial Porcelain Manufactory Platter from the Old Style Armorial Service Russian Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, Period of Nicholas I (1825-1855) 13-7x8 x 18-3x4 x 2-5x8 inches (35.2 x 47.6 x 6.7 cm) This service, with two thin gold bands, the rim centering the lesser state arms of the Russian Empire is from the period of Nicholas I in which the Emperor introduced raised wings of the double-headed eagle. For more information on this service, see Iz Serviznykh Kladovykh: Ubranstvo russkogo imperatorskogo stolaXVIII - Nachala XX Veka, State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, 2016, p. 380.
