A Russian pre-Revolutionary gold, diamond and enamel snake bracelet. The graduated, engraved links, to the similarly engraved scrolling tail and blue enamel head with old and rose-cut diamond crest and eyes. Two diamonds deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 1.30cts. Principal old-cut diamond estimated weight 1ct, tinted colour, SI clarity. Russian marks including 56 Zolotnik mark. Length 20cms. Weight 30.6gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
Two diamonds deficient.
Diamonds fairly matched.
Diamonds bright.

Principal diamond drawing a tinted colour, with some small inclusions, some eye visible.
Smaller crest and eye diamonds with inclusions, chips and nicks to some facets.
Enamel is in good condition with few very minor scratches, believed to have been re-enamelled, areas of excess enamel residue visible to hinges and tail.
