A Russian pre-revolutionary egg charm bracelet. The gold grooved trace-link chain, with hook clasps, suspending a series of thirteen egg charms, to include a faceted orange glass egg, a silver textured egg, a mottled pink glass egg, an orange glass egg, a blue and clear glass egg, a silver and gold enamel egg with Union Jack flag, a silver and gold floral enamel egg, a silver and enamel egg with raised XB, a mother-of-pearl egg with garnet foliate surmount, a mother-of-pearl egg with garnet foliate detail, a purple enamel egg, a banded agate egg, together with a faceted blue glass egg. Two with second kokshnik import marks. Two with 56 zolotnik marks. Length of bracelet 21.5cms. Total weight 35.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Some probable replacement detachable surmount loops.
Purple enamel example with small enamel losses.
Remaining three enamel examples with significant enamel losses.
Faceted glass examples show nicks and abrasion.
Blue and clear glass example with moulding marks in the swirling blue glass.
