A SET OF FOUR IRISH REGENCY MAHOGANY HALL CHAIRS, CIRCA 1815

the reeded quatrefoil shaped backs painted with a crest, on sabre legs

Condition Report:
In country house condition. Painted crests with wear from age and use, one notably rubbed (see catalogue illustration). One seat detached and one slightly loose. One seat with movement and visible gap were it meets the back. One chair back with loss of reeded moulding of quatrefoil. Legs with historic repair - does not detract and has some age. Loss of some glue blocks to underside. Marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Some more recent scuffs to legs. Attractive colour.
