A SET OF OVERLAID GLASS DECANTERS
China, c. 1920. The glass bottles overlaid with fine embossed silver respectively silver-plated metal. The first (silver) depicting foliate flowerheads, the stopper of silver and glass, the base stamped with three hallmarks. The second (silver-plated metal) with openwork decor featuring dragons pursuing flaming pearls amid cloud scrolls, the stopper also silvered and bearing a cork.
Condition: Good condition with expected surface wear, some minor dents and minimal warping to one stopper.
