A SET OF TWELVE LOBMEYR MONOGRAM ENGRAVED WATER GLASS STEMWARE, AUSTRIAN, 20TH CENTURY, pale blue-hued glass with engraved letter "E" on a well knopped and ring stem ending with a tapered socle and circular foot, each foot engraved with the maker's mark. Height: 6 1/2" Diameter: 4" Note: It is a belief that the thinner the crystal the less distracting from the wine being served. Very few crystal houses make this type of crystal. It is almost a lost art due to the time involved. Most Austrian Embassies use Lobmeyr for their formal dinners and functions.
Condition Report: One with a chip at the rim, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
