dating: mid-19th Century provenance: India, Curved, single-edged damask blade (pitting), at the forte remains of a cartouche featuring rests of gilt inscriptions; bronze hilt with remains of gilding, quillon and grip in one piece, engraved with floral motifs and decorated with drops of red and green glass paste (parts missing), pommel with central hole. Bronze scabbard with remains of gilding, decorated with bas-relieved floral motifs and geometrical frames, provided with two rings. length 89,5 cm.
