A silver mounted sword
dating: 19th Century provenance: Oman, Wide, straight, undulated, double-edged blade, first part with fuller in the center, with 'X'-stamp and lion on the opposite side. Leather-covered hilt of typical shape, iron pommel and tip covered with silver wire binding. Wooden scabbard covered with leather, stitched with silver thread and with silver mounts, bands decorated in bass-relief, the cap probably restored. Two suspension rings. Small parts missing and defects. length 105 cm.
