A SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL COMMEMORATIVE SILVER SET BY MAPPIN & WEBBcomprised of a pair of silver and parcel gilt cups together with a decanter, both with original Mappin & Webb leathered covered travelling / display cases also featuring the Churchill lion motif, the decanter applied with Sir Winston Churchill's coat of arms within garter surround above his motto Fiel Pero Desdichado (Faithful but unfortunate), inscribed 1874-1974, numbered 54, dated 1874-1974, with a silver stopper surmounted by his lion crest, the cups similarly applied with the Churchill crest and numbered 306,307, including two parchment authentications from the Churchill Centenary Trust signed by Clementine Churchill,decanter 29cm high, 1190gr., 38oz. 4dwt.
