A SMALL LONGQUAN CELADON 'TWIN FISH' DISH, SONG DYNASTY (AD 960-1279)

The center of the interior is molded with two fish, and the exterior of the rounded sides is carved with upright petals below the everted rim. The glaze is of a dark sea-green tone.
5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) diam.

CONDITION REPORT:

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are chips and kiln grit adhesions to the foot.
-There is very minor glaze degradation near the mouth rim.
-There are expected light surface scratches and wear.
