A SMALL MOLDED YAOZHOU BOWL, SONG DYNASTY (AD 960-1279)

The bowl with slightly everted rim is molded on the interior with a band of chrysanthemum-like petals above a chrysanthemum in the center and is covered overall with a glaze of deep olive-green tone.
4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) diam.

CONDITION REPORT:
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are two hairlines extending from the mouth rim.
-The inner mouth rim has been overpainted with a small loss to the overpainting.
-There are small areas of overspray to the exterior.
-There are a few minor iron spots to the interior and exterior.
-There are small chips and kiln grit adhesions to the foot.
