A SMALL MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID BLACK LACQUER DISH, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The lobed lacquer dish is finely inlaid in mother-of-pearl with depictions of several archaic bronzes against a diaper ground, within a band of stylized floral design on the sides. The base is inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a three-character seal mark, ben jing tang (Hall of Self Reverence).

-There is a hairline extending from the mouth rim.
-There are nicks and wear to the mouth rim.
-There are expected light surface scratches.
-There are two very small losses to the center of the interior.
