The early 19th century two piece cabinet is topped by a cove molded cornice over the two glazed doors having original rippled and bubbled glass divided by mullions that align with the interior shelves. The china press top with tenon construction sits on a four-drawer case having drop panel sides, reeded stiles and short turned legs is backed by wide horizontal poplar back boards secured with square hand forged nails, all original, including, apparently, the brasses with embossed acorns.
