A SOVIET PORCELAIN LFZ FIGURINE MORNING
A Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LFZ) figurine depicting a morning routine of a child washing himself by G.S. Stolbova (1908-1996). In 1926 she graduated from the Industrial and Art Institute in Vyatka. In 1927 - 1937 she studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin. She studied with the sculptors A. T. Matveev, V. A. Sinaisky. She worked at the LFZ from 1949 to 1965. The main topic for her was a happy Soviet childhood.
