A SPINACH JADE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' VASE AND COVER
18th/19th century
Carved as a baluster vase surrounded by a curled dragon emerging from one side in pursuit of a flaming pearl and a phoenix standing to the other side, the auspicious lingzhi fungus curling around the vase extending to an oval water pot, the cover surmounted by a pierced knop, the stone of dark green tone with white veining and black speckles.
