A SPLIT AMMONITE, MADAGASCAR

A Cleoniceras sp. from the early Cretaceous (approx. 135 million years ago), split and polished to reveal inner chambers.
Each half 9 x 7½ x 1in. (23 x 19.5 x 2.5cm.)

In very good condition with much of the shell preserved to reverse.
