Fashion photographer Steven Meisel has shot to fame over the past decades for his work for Vogue as well as Madonna's Sex book. In this early work, gifted to Annie Flanders during the Soho News days, he captures a striking portrait of a young woman sporting an enormous bouffant and a sequined dress, a beguiling gap between her two front teeth. The photograph, identified as "Felicia," appears in Soho News as part of an advertisement for the Larocka Model Agency that appeared in the March 26, 1980 issue.
