Mounted with a fine Persian heirloom blade, broad, thick, and wrought of fine Persian black wootz, retaining considerable edge. In its later velvet-covered wooden scabbard with steel suspension band and chape. 18th-19th century. Scabbard well worn. Overall length 104 cm / 41". Condition III
