Decorated with elaborate floral designs, the series of bezel-set oval sapphires weighing approximately 21.00 carats, between diamond-set petals, carved green chalcedony leaves and small bezel-set round cabochon sapphires, in 18k gold, inner circumference 15 3/4 inches

Sapphires of a medium light tone of very slightly violetish blue colour, good clarity, good matching. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the faceted sapphires are consistent with features found in sapphires known to have originated in Sri Lanka.
