An Edgemont, Pennsylvania Estate.
Condition Report: In generally fair overall condition with an approximately 3 ½ inch vertical tear in the center of the carpet within the center medallion. Toward one end there is also a whitish foreign substance (paint?). The carpet has generally full pile throughout. At/near one corner the carpet appears slightly brittle and lighter in color – indicative of a possible old stain. The carpet is not perfectly symmetrical – there are some variations in length so that the top/bottom ends of the carpet are slightly bowed in appearance.
